Without further ado we would like to present the July 2011 Manhattan Reefs Tank of the Month honor to Naquan..better known to many of you as Straightjiggy10!!!

[FONT="]What does being chosen as MR ToTM mean to you?
[/FONT][FONT="]I used to come to MR and stare for hours at the many tank threads and only wish my reef was as good or the colors popped like many other members on here, and now I?m TOTM it means so much because it gives the new members a chance to look at my tank and learn something from me as I learned from many others.

[/FONT][FONT="]I received a free 90G and stand NON-RR from my buddy Cory (NYEYCE) and was automatically addicted to the hobby. Thx Cory!
[/FONT] I know this isn?t your first tank, what did you have before this 100G?
My current system was an upgrade of two tanks combined, A 28G Nano and 60G Marineland Cube. Most of the live stock I already had packed together in each tank, prior to that I?d had a 220G Reef and a 90G RR & non-RR
Can you tell us more about the tank and what equipment you have on there?
48"x24"x20" Glass Cages Rimless 100 gallons
The front is Starphire glass
Custom King 15G Sump w/ Refugium & Dual Socks
Mag Drive 12 for Return pump
2X Vortech MP40wES
48" ATI Powermodule & Reefbright LED Strip
Super Reef Octopus XP1000 Space Saver Internal Cone Protein Skimmer
JBJ 1/3 HP chiller
Battery Backup in case of a power outage
Very nice! What are your husbandry methods?
25G water change bi-weekly
I use D&D Ocean-Pro Salt or Reef Crystals.
I dose A, B, and Magnesium, Strontium, Lugols Iodide.
I run Purigen and Chemi-Pure Elite along with Bulk Reef Supply GFO. I also spot feed once a week with Rods Food.
Does anyone babysit your tank when you are away?

Are there any changes you?d like to make in the future to your system?
I?d like to try an LED fixture soon to save on electric bill.

Not really, I only named my purple tang -- Princess Purple Tang J
Do you have a favorite coral?
I have two my Tyree Dragon Soul Favia & my Gold Hammer, the colors are so intense on these pieces!
Does anyone else in your family have an interest in the hobby?
[FONT="]My son! He?s 4 now and a great reefer, already he manages a small nano 10G frag tank.
What has Manhattan Reefs contributed to your enjoyment of the hobby?
MR has giving me a chance to meet and socialize with so many people from so many different lives, many of which I have learned so much from, MR also has a great Marketplace with great vendors!
Is there anyone you would like to thank?
