I'm not "dissing" your set up. I'm saying it's not very practical. How much space do you have between where the intake of your pump is and where your water line will be? It doesn't look like there is much space since it's so low. That will be a problem, like for instance if you're not home and the sump gets too low the pump will run dry and burn out,or the fish in the tank will die from no air. It's little things like that that I'm talking about but hey do what you wanna do.

It's not the baffles it's the tank lol The sump looks good don't get me wrong I just think it's too low from the looks of it. What's the height? Are you planning on hooking an ATO up? That would help better the situation. Manually topping that off all the time will get very old very quick. On a higher sump you could get away with not doing it so often with a low one you HAVE to make sure you always do and keep an eye on the level.

It is short , It's like 12in tall and 24in long. I'll prob add ATO. But I'm so use to manual top off from my other 2 tanks running On the opposite side if the wall where this tank is I have 150g FO tank that I top off my self and a 75g mixed reef upstairs. For now this sump will have to do for the time being
