I have noticed some of my SPS are starting to lighten. Some orange monti and green monti with the purple dots. Also my ORA green birdsnest is not as green as it used to be.
Probably need to start testing more than salinity now.
Either that or my lights are under powered. I have the knockoff 120W LEDs and they were fine on my 75. That tank was 18" and this one is 30" so it looks like I will have to step up on the lighting.
My 75 I used Reef Crystals and this tank I started using ESV.
Wondering if that has something to do with it.

Well need a par meter for that one.
I have found salt preference to be one of those things reefers are loyal to.
I don't think brand matters as long as it is mixed correctly and you have a decent brand. I was happy with RC I'm happy with ESV.

Some pics of the sump now that it's starting to break in.

Throwing an updated picture out there.
I lost all my monti from nudibranchs and a severe alkalinity swing.
When I finally put the two together all my montipora were bleached and dead.
I did get a nice piece of rock and starting to rescape the tank.

The LED lighting is working really well. I'm getting nice penetration to the sand.

Thanks I will take a frag.
Wondering weather to leave my tank without montis for 6 months until the eggs die off or suspend a frag rack from the center support.
Any nudis would not be able to get to that.
