excelent choice on the skimmer.

because if I stand up the top of the tank will be right in my face
so I go on my knees so I can see the whole tank and have the diving-like impression lol

forget about the platform the tank will look nice and clean without it

What's wrong with the platform? Shallow tanks need to be raised...stock stands are low to begin with.
besides the stock stand being too shallow, i really do not want to drill holes in my floor to mount my light. my ceiling is too high to hang something, and the tank is placed at an angle so coming out from the wall won't work.
Update:
1. sprayed the inside of the stand with rubber sealant.
2. added 2 fans inside the stand. 1 exhaust, 1 intake.
3. My light mount FINALLY came in.
Sand will be here around the 17th. Rock and the 2 remaining mp10wES's-hopefully soon.
