Hello guys and gals okay so i know this may be a little late but I'm gonna try this tank thread I'm rebuilding my SPS tank i currently upgraded from my 120 to a 220 but in the process lost all my corals so I've been getting frags and starting from scratch i will post pics of the tank and the new sump built just for this tank and then pics of the current corals i also lost all my fish but I'm determined not to let that stop me from getting the most beautiful tank in the 10466 LOL so stay tuned for pics as soon as i can figure out how to get them up here i will also have a video link showing the new tank and the sump room so stay tuned comments are always welcomed and pics coming soon cause i know we all love pictures lol

okay until the pics here are some system stats:

custom made 40gal sump ( due to area restrictions )
2- red sea canister filters one with carbon the other micro pleated filter
5- AI vegas
3- MP40wes pumps
1- iwaki external pump
reef octopus 160xs skimmer ( to be upgraded later )'
reef octopus biochurn 120int ( bio pellet media reactor)
next reef media container running GFO
bubble magnus currently dosing Alk and Ca
reef keeper lite
4 heaters totaling 1000+ wats
oceanic chiller CL650 ( not currently on will be upgrading this also )

Tank is 220gal monterey model

2 clowns i believe they are picaso
1 bangai cardinal
3 blue/green chromis
2 red firefish
1 black blenny
1 bi color blenny
1 pink barred bobby
multiple hermits,sally lightfoot, and snails

Corals: ( still looking for some very colorful sps pieces to place into tank )

sunset monti ( very pale right now )

I currently dose ZEOvit

ZEOstart3 - 2ml daily ( this as well as a low bio-load has my levels where they are )
ZEOspur2 - 10ml wkly
B-Balance- 5ml daily
ZEOfood- 10drops 2x wkly
Pohl's Xtra Concentrate- 10ml daily
Pohl's K-Balance Potassium Concentrate- 10ml daily
ESV iodine- 12ml wkly

hey bro hang in there dont let the bump in the road hold u back reefing is all about how u handle the bump in the road and if u need some sticks am only a few zip codes away gl on the rebuild i like big tank around on nice levels

YOU CANT SEE IT BUT THE STAND AND TOP ARE CHERRY COLORED SORRY THE ROOM STAYS DARK TO KEEP DOWN ON HEAT

I'm no expert but with montis I've had them go dull on me and I would move em around, cut em, whisper sweet nothings to them and nothing would work...but what worked for me was doing nothing. just leaving them be lol. Adam might be able to chime in too I know he had similar feelings.
