I'm sorry I can't seem to get my head around posting pics in a thread. Please be patient with me. This is the only pic I can seem to get in here. There are more pics in the Members Gallery. I'm going to try the "Attach Files" at the bottom of this page.
This is the tank that my best friend left me when she passed away last month. Slamajama & Chris288 came to my rescue, they got the tank in to my house this past Tuesday.
It is a 155 Bow Front, lighting is Orbit Compact w/ moon lights, refugium is 29" X 14" X 13" return pumps are rio 2100 & Iwaki 40rlt through swid, sump is amiracle w/lr rubble return pump is rio3100 (which may have to be removed since I can't seem to get them to work together w/out flooding my floor), skimmer is a Berlin Turboflotor Multi pump is Aquabee 2100 borrowed from my fowlr. Looking into another skimmer that will fit in a space of 8"X10"X13", that is all the room I have left in the refugium's sump area.
This tank is a work in progress. There a few other things I have to do to it to make it more presentable. In the immediate future I will be touching up the stand, and then I will take it from there. Any, and all suggestion are welcomed.

it looks well set up, great job Mike and Chris!

I like the rock work, nice and open. And that looks like a nice selection of fish for that tank. I see a little trigger fish, the tangs, and the ubiquitous damsels :)

What if any plans do you have for the tank? more coral, more fish?

Yes PalmTree, this is the tank that Mike & Chris moved for me. As to it looking mature, that is due to the fact that my 120 had been running for approximately 3yrs. in my old house. (When I moved in Feb,2006 from the old house we brought all the water with us. I had hired two guys from "Bob's Tropical", and they moved as quickly as they could in setting it back up. I had lost everything, but an eel & 2 rock anemone in my setup due to the fact that the boiler was not working in the new place, and the heaters could not keep up with the dropping temperature in the house. And I was just to sick to muster up the energy to do anything about it. I have a feeling the tank crashed, and recycled all on its own back then. This probably explains why my dsb didn't stink as one would expect for a 3yr.old dsb to stink.) And I once again safed all the water from my 120 for the transfer to the 155 Bow. The lr is most of my old lr, and a little of my friend's. Most of her lr is in my 75 which is housing her none reef safe fish.
jhale, the fish are also a combination of my friend's and my fish. There are currently 7 anemone 3 are mine - original 2 rock anemone, and 1 green carpet, my friend's 4 not sure what they all are 1 pink carpet, 1 or 2 lta, 1retierier(don't know how to spell that one), (my friend's fish) 1lg. purple tang,, a pair of lg.blonde nasos, a marine betta, (my fish) 2 small yellow tangs, 1 small purple tang, 1 small niger trigger, and the GS Maroon that I got from Michael Stern. NO damsels. Never, maybe some chromis, and anthias, and others in that category. But no damsels.....:) And yes, definitely more corals. Currently, there is the 3 head green hammer, kenya frag, toadstool frag, some zoo frags, I picked up from rstimeout. A green lt plate I got as a nano from FTUSA about 3 months ago (which does not look like a nano anymore), finger leather, and 1 more survivor from my original 3 year old 120. I keeping trying to keep my rock work as I have always had it, but as you all know that is impossible. Always like giving the fish room to move. Hope I have answered all of your questions.
Thank you Deepwater. Thank you all for your compliments, and for all the help I have had through out the years on this web site.

I love the piece of rock on top of the bridge. The way it is a curved piece over a straight piece reminds me of the entrance to a shrine. (I forget what they are called)

It is two pieces of dead tonga branch that my friend had laying in the cabinet. Thank you, I agree they are very nice. Right now they are white w/some small burgundy spots. I know that won't last.

They are called Tori gates. Beautiful pieces of work. When you walk through them evil spirits and "bad things" are supposed to be trapped behind leaving only a cleansed being to go into the shrine.

ah, so no Damsel's :) I mistook the clown for a black and white stipped damsel in one of the pics.

maybe with the faux Tori Gates you could keep some damsels :sgrin: :fish:

Man it took me forever and a day to get rid of my last damsel. I will never get another for as long as I live. Those little bastards are possesd. Really nice job on the tank by the way. You should have posted here in the before you moved your 120 so we could help. It would have been much cheaper. Food and beer!

jhale, my clown is offended.:irked:

PalmTree, you are absolutely correct and I bet you guys would not had broken anything. The dummy from "Bob's Tropical" didn't remove the refugium which has a dsb, and was still full of water out of the cabinet consequently the bottom of the cabinet fell out, and they some how managed to crack 2 of the U tubes. And when they got it here all they did was dump the stuff back into the tank, no setting the lr nice and neat. They also broke the stand to my 75. But what can I say I wasn't on the pc those days, I was to sick. I was dealing with cancer, the sale of the old place, the purchase of the place we are now in. My brain was just being pulled in a million directions. Can you imagine closing on a property 1/30/06, having major surgery 1/31/06, and moving 2/16/06, and then starting chemo 2/26/06? No time for pc.
