Hello everyone,

I heard great things about MR from a friend so I figured I'd join the bandwagon as well :) I'm from Boston, and looking to expand my reefer friends network! :D

Anyway! I couldn't find a meet and greet sub-forum so I figured I should create a tank thread for my tank to kick start everything.

Tank: Miracles tank -- 84" (length) x 30" (width -- front to back) x 25" (height). Center overflow. 3-sides starphire glass + A custom frag tank
Sump: Advanced acrylics Alpha series
Skimmer: Tunze 9430 + Deltec SC2530
Lights: 3 x Ecotech Radion Pro + 6 x T5s (12 x 39w T5s split evenly so it's really 6 T5s)
Pump: Ecotech Vectra L1
Powerheads: 2 x Ecotech MP60s + 2 x Ecotech MP40s

I'll upload some pics soon as well :)

Had someone local build the canopy for me:

Idea was to have the canopy on a rail system so I can slide it out when I need to do any maintenance. Here's when we first hung it up over the tank:

My first (and hopefully last) time ever wiring T5 retros ... boy they're a PITA:

A few pics of some of the fish at the time ... unfortunately a bunch didn't make it after I introduced my tang army :( Basically to fight off the dreaded algae outbreak, I made the mistake of adding all 7 of my tangs a tad bit too early ... between the "active-ness" of the tangs and all the extra ammonia etc, lost quite a few fish :( But loved these beauties anyway so here are the pics:

wow someone is pissy! lol you are welcome to come and look at the tank yourself if you feel these are photoshopped. Considering I don't know how to use photoshop and don't have it on my computer, I'd love to know how you came to that conclusion.

And before you edited your post -- I never said I grew these from frags, so not really sure where that comment came from.
