Hello,

This is my third tank and hoping this will be the last :wink1: ... Started with a 55G, made lot of mistakes and learned a lot from that. Then upgraded to 75G RR AGA tank. Was some kind of successful but spend a lot of time & $$ to learn this hobby. My friend Rick (Nyreefnoob) was very helpful through out the journey. Had a bad crash in one summer and took that opportunity to plan for upgrade to 180G. Was collecting all the equipment. But took a different direction and went with the Reefer Deluxe 525 XL. John from Pop Corals helped me to get the tank delivered. Now the fun starts :spin:. Will need everyone help :grouphug:. Thanks again everyone.

Nice choice i just setup a 425 xl and i love it. One word of advise is be careful when setting up the plumbing the pvc is pretty fragile and if anything break you will have to get it directly from redsea.

+1. I crack the bulkhead for the return of a 525 XL and had to pay nearly $40 to get one from Red Sea.

Finally this tank is up. Took a very looong time due to some personal commitments...

Can someone give me a cup of live sand to seed the tank ? Thanks ...

Made some modifications on the filter socks. Removed the socks and made that as media filter. One has the sponge and the other has the Carbon media. So for everything is good. Dumped two bottles of BIO Spira and a shrimp for cycling... it?s been three weeks and no algae bloom till now.
