hi all ! with the help of rich , i finally got my registry straightened out ! thanks rich :wink: . some of you my reconize my user name from R.C. . yes i did jump ship from there and do not post there anymore . ( not that i was a heavy poster anyways ) but i dygress . anyways hope to find a new home here and meet some new friends and maybe see some old friends here 
. so on to my tank - i have a 75 gal b.b. sps dominated tank. most of the project has been d.i.y. .
flow - circulation from sump to tank provided by gen-x pump rated at 1190 g.p.h.
in-tank - circulation is provided via a tunze wavebox , 2 6060 tunze streams , a closed loop made up of a mag -7 which runs thru a scwd , and one m.j. 1200 turning a hydor rotater .
lighting - one 250 m.h. 10k ( for the sps dominated end ) , and one 175 m.h.10k for the other side . four 54 watt t-5s ( 2 pure actinics and 2 aqua blues ) the t-5s are run on a workhorse-7 ballast which has a homemade relay set-up to allow the aqau-blues to turn on at a seperate time from the actinics . and three moonlights for night-time veiwing.
mechanical filtration - 30 gallon sump which holds two filter socks ( one is used on the returns from the tank , the other for the out-flow from the skimmers ) i use two skimmers with one being a euro reef cs5-2 , that is set to skim medium , and a 5" dia aquatic life support systems venturi driven by a mag -5 pump . i will add some pics when i get the chance , please feel free to ask me any questions you my have . thanks gary....
