Here's my first shot at a true reef setup... I had a 55G FOWLR setup a few years back that had to be broken down for a move and was not able to fit in the new apartment...
It has settled in nicely with no real nightmares (minus the initial brown diatom outbreak, which has stopped)
Specs:
29G AGA
Current Orbit 30" Fixture (1 65W 10000K daylight/1 65W actinic)
ProClear WetDry converted to a sump/algae scrubber with LR rubble (currently out of the loop as it is curing some LR)
CPR Bak-Pak 2R+ skimmer
2 Hydor-Koralia 2 pump/powerheads
1 unknown brand tiny powerhead for extra circulation across the face of the LR
35 pounds of Fiji LR
~2.5 inch live sand bed
Livestock:
1 tank raised Ocellaris
1 tank raised Neon Goby
1 Flame Angel
Inverts:
1 Peppermint Shrimp
2 Tongan Nassarius Snails (massive)
2 Nassarius Snails (tiny)
2 Emerald Mithrax Crabs
Corals:
1 Tongan Yellow Leather Coral
1 mushroom coral of unknown species
1 small toadstool colony (?)
1 button coral colony
