45g tank

ok as i have switched my mind on my new set-up for a couple of reasons but the new tank is 36x18x17 interior volume of 45g's decided more to go with this because of swimming room and flow reasons wanted to have sand again, there's a few fish i want that i cant have without the sandbed. had custom king make my external overflow box so i could save room inside tank and going to have a closed loop system to keep down on cords and ph's in tank, going to use a gen-x gx4100 for closed loop and going to have a gen-x gx2400 for return chose these one because of low power consumption and gen-x is a pretty good brand{ price was right } tank is drilled in top corners that i will be using for returns with loc-line to spead flow and going to drill close loop towards bottom on the back with locline aiming towards the front top which will hopefully help puch back into overflow. euroreef rs 135 skimmer. and 3 tek t5 retro's. will try to post pic's tommorrow. if all goes well it will be set-up the weekend of valentines :biggrin:

ok here are some back one's. thinking of taking tank to work and wetsanding tank with 2000 grit, and polishing it out think it might be a clearer smoother surface, what do you think ? most pf tank is still covered in blue plastic

a little more progress

ok now that i am less then a week away from switching tanks. have just about everything:scratchch drilled the tank got my pumps and most fitting's, gonna use a swc for my closed loop which will return from towards bottom middle. and regular return from top corners. plan to use the gen-x 4100 for return and to supply reactors and chiller if i still need it. back to my t5's. 6 bulb 3 tech retro's. a gen-x 2400 will be used for return. skimmer is a euroreef rs 135 with mesh mod and soon gate vale. here are a pic you can see schedule 80 are closed loop
