OK guys so a few months ago I moved and was forced to sell my 150g mixed reef along with all my baby's, most fish I raised since they where tiny and at the time of sale they where huge to say the least lol. After I got settled in I new I wanted a tank but was very limited on space, my new apt is much smaller then the last. A few days ago a fellow member Tom (forgot his screen name) posted a "for sale" thread with a JBJ 24g Nano cube for an awesome price so I jumped on it! I just finished setting it up and its contents are as follows 30lbs live rock and about 25lbs of live sand, no bio balls but I have some aged and cycled ceramic rings from another member in the back chamber and used about 15g of cycled water and all the rock is fully cured so my cycle should be very short (even though I'm in no rush). Anyway this will be my first tank thread so I hope you enjoy the pics.

no tangs......lol
Lol deff not! Any of the members that know me from my old store know I'm the biggest Tang cop out there! I respect all fish and will only hold fish that will thrive in my little system, I'm really a clown lover at hart so will probably have a sick pair of clowns and a few other small fish. This is going to be a mostly coral tank. :D

Glad your back Lenny.. Looks good..What's next?? What inhabitants do you have in mind?
Thanks Tobin. As far as the stock list goes it's going to be mixed LPS,zoanthids, rics and hopefully some sweet acans. And as far as fish go so far I would like to add a mated pair of clowns and maybe one or two more small fish, nothing like the monsters I had in my 150g lol.

Up date

So the tank didn't have much of a cycle if any since I took everything from an established tank IE water, rock and sand. So today I went and picked up a mated pair of true Percs and added them to the tank. I just love clown fish, so much personality and just very cool fish in general. Here is a video I took of them and I hope you guys like it :)

Update

Well since I last posted I added some goodies. Got rid of the stock PC lighting for a current 250w Sunpod, this light rocks! The glow from my basement apt is amazing lol and my new corals and anemones love it. I also added another pair of clowns, this time I got black&white false percs. I was a bit worried about adding 2 more clowns to such a small tank but they are getting along well and no fighting whats so ever. I have 2 anemones in the tank, one green BTA and a sweet Blue/purple gigantea carpet which the clowns jumped in about 10 mins after adding to the tank. As far as corals so far I have a candy can coral, green bubble coral and a green Goniopora flower pot. I also have 2 cleaner shrimp and various snails and hermits. Now some pics.

lookin good and good luck with the gigantea carpet, they are hard enough in a large tank let alone a nano and out of curiousity, why a gig and not a haddoni which is easy to keep alive

I was looking for a haddoni but didn't have much luck finding a nice specimen and also finding one small enough to keep in my 24g. I got a great deal on the gig and it was a perfect size about 5in fully open so I bought it. I know they are hard to keep but I love a challenge and it gives me more of a reason to stick to my wc schedule and monitor my salinity and the rest of my prams.
