10+ year old CD collection

Doing a spring cleaning and decided to part with all my CD's. I started buying these when I was a little kid. . . most CD's are in good shape. A few of them are scratched. I have close to 150 or so CD's with the majority being classic/alternative rock. Would like $200 for them all. That about $1 a cd.

A lot of those sites give you next to nothing for the cds. There are A LOT of resellers that buy cd lots off of ebay, I just sold off 180+ cds on there and they went for 260 or so plus shipping.

They are heavy but you can ship via Usps media mail which gives a greatly reduced rate. I think my lot shipped for around 17 dollars.

Dvd's also go for a decent amount on there and you can use media mail for them as well.

Do I need the CD cases to sell to these vendors? I have most of the artwork saved in my CD binder/big case that holds 60+ CDs. But, don't have the actual cases the CD's came in new.

You might not. Check out some of the listings on there. I would search auctions only and sort by most bids first.

If you are going to list them, just check each one out quick for damage. I wiped all of mine down with a damp rag and looked for gouges. Light scratches are ok, gouges are a problem.
