I was wondering if having my Mag at 1260 is too low.. I use ESV salt and for watever reason my mag is always 1260.. it stays steady during weekly water changes and my alk and cal is always steady as well. Does having my mag at this level effct anything in my tank? i have lps/sps and 4 clams
My Cal is 440 and alk is 8.4. Using salifert to test all levels

1260 is ok? why what do you want to run it at? i use to run 1240 all the time, but now currently started running magnesium real high, around 1600-1650 to maintain algae issue i use to have and now preventing. if you want to raise it pick up some esv magnesium or kent mag. in a few days it would be up.
