I have a metal halide diy ballast , a mogul base , a 36 inch light fixture and a hamilton 14k bulb that has a good 8 or 9 months on it . This was a quick do it yourself project I had there is no fan in it but the hole is cut out on the side of the fixture if you need it smaller I can cut it for you re weld the end on the fixture and touch up the paint( the fixture used to be 46 inches I cut it down looks original) everything is wired already but I suggest getting a metal box (sold at home depot) to put the ballast into I had it sitting on the ceramic tile floor temporarily but that's not recommended
