24" MH w/ T5 combo?

Check out the Hamilton Cebu sun. Those the only ones I have seen under $750.

Giesseman has a couple of fixture but those are almost $900 new.

Yea the Giesseman spectra is about that price range but that's just for the fixture. Fixture + ballast = >$1000 :bigeyes2:


If im spending that kinda $$, I was thinking about the Sfiligoi 24" for about $1500

I have both spectra and sfiligoi. The Spectra is a better fixture. More spread from the halide, better coverage. These pop up used from time to time much cheaper. I bought both for mine in the $400 range, but I changed ballasts to my preference.

Which ballast did u use and why?

Lumatek electronic adjustable ballast, because they run 400w radiums properly, and give the option of a 250w bulb.

Aqua traders sells one, an odyssea. Very cheap but I would be wary of the quality .

i think this will be good IF you change the ballast and bulbs. their reflector is iffy, but if you dont have a deep tank i think that will be fine. but nothing beats german quality. :screama:
