48 hours with no skimmer?

i just called dolphin pumps. they don't make submersible pumps any more. They sold that whole line to Euro-Reef Inc...

I am going to order a new pump from them today, just because I feel that it is always best to match equipment as close to factory spec as possible. They spent the money on the R&D…. must’ a been a reason!!

Really though, if I am without a skimmer until tomorrow night (nearly 48 total hours), think I’ll be alright? (see previous post)
--last night i did about a 20% change, and will do another 10% tonight...

Donut worry about it.


Your tank will be fine without a skimmer for a while.
Some people don't even use them 8O

If you are concerned you could always suppliment it with an extra water change

i figure 5 gallons every night till i am back skimming.....
