5-gallon jugs of saltwater at retail...any good?

I posted this in the GRD, but wanted to know if any of you guys sold the stuff and/or used it in-store, and what the results were.

5-gallon jugs of saltwater at retail...any good? Saw these for sale at my lfs, and the saltwater guy (good guy, average livestock) swears by them and says they promote coralline algae with good growth.
I forgot to look at who puts it out, but I think he said CaribSea had a similar product.
Anyone use this? What's the deal?

Make sure you check the salinity if you use it. I've used it with decent results, nothing out of the ordinary, but I've tested the salinity as high as 1.032 with a freshly calibrated refractometer.

Is it Blue Life? From what I was told its Catalina Water Co. bottled and relabeled. I personally think its great water but I’m not sure about buying it in a bottle. We get it trucked in about once a week so it stays fresh.

Ohh and yes, in general it’s a little high in salinity; around 1.027
