Email john and he will tell you what you should use. He is VERY responsive.

LFS are ok but are expensive.

Hell yeah on the LFS being to expensive on clean up crews. I tried that and had them put it all back. I was up to $250 for half what i got for $80 at reefcleaners.

And John seems to always throw a couple extra in. For my latest cleanup crew, he made recommendations to me like getting chitons instead of turbos (I don't want bulldozers in my tank). He also recommended virgin nerites, they eat diatoms like crazy!!!!!

John is very generous with the quick crews. Last time I ordered I got about 50% extra. I'm sure he does this to recoup for any that don't make it during shipping, but I had very few DOA snails, so I ended up with a lot of extras. He's also very good with responding to emails.
