90 GAL Lighting Options

Well I have puchased everything but my bulbs and pendants. I have decided to go with 2x400 HQI with PFO pendants just trying to figure out what bulbs I should go with. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

I'm not familure with the bulbs you have listed, but I like my MH (250 watt 10KK) with actinics so one of those is what I would choose.

do you have to go with hqi bulbs? there are a lot more mogul bulbs to pick from and some are brighter too.

Hey bud, 2x400 is overkill. To much IMO, just go with 2x250's and you will have plenty of light. I used that on my old 90 with much light. Especially XM's.

Hey thanks. The only problem is I already have the 400x2 HQI ballast from my past setup. I dont want to have to buy a new ballast.
