Looks like an old nasty potato chip. The wierd thing is that it is actually two plate corals still fused together. Give it plenty of food and even strong light with good constant calcium levels and it will look normal in a matter of months.

I have had it for a short while but I believe this is the normal appearance for this one. In nature many stay deflated during the day, then at night the swell up. At night mine looks way inflated with much better polyp extention.

What do you recommend feeding it with. I occasionally feed my other corals with chopped silversides.

I think it developed the extra mouth to atempt splitting, do you agree?

I agree that it will eventually split. I would suggest feeding mysis shrimp. With the exception of cyclopeez which is way to small they are the most nutritional food you can give anything in your tank.

Yes I like mysis I feed atleast one frozen cube a day to the fish along with nori for the tang.

Thanks
