A lil guidance on wtd please

Got some pieces of rocks from a friend that were live but he cleaned them and put them out of water for over a month in his basement in a bucket with no water and now gave them to me. Will these rocks become live rock again? Is it safe to put them in my tank? What is the process or should i just toss them? Wanted them for my biocube fuge..... thanks all help is welcome..

you can use it you would just have to cure it first http://www.livestockusa.org/CURING.html or if its a new tank you can use it to cycle the tank too.

As above. You will need to fully cure to get rid of the stuff that was on there that is now dead. If you just put them into your system, you will start a cycle.

Its all relative (amount of dead rock you are adding versus how much your tank can handle), but in theory you would just cause your tank to cycle again, to what scale is the issue.

Switched tanks so I put some of my live rock with some of the new dry rock into my new tank.

The tank will cycle (how much depends on various things)....be prepared to lose all livestock in that tank.
