Yes, that's right, your friendly neighborhood moderator actually DOES take photographs. In fact, I'm now actually a professional photographer--I do studio work during the week and shoot weddings on the weekends. Unfortunately, that leaves precious little time to photograph my own life! hehe

Well here's a new shot from the tank...

Hey John!

Cool picture man! Those look like new additions from the last time I looked at your tank. Does that mushroom get stung at all from the palythoa? Is that mushroom white rimmed or is that a photographic effect?

Actually those have been in there for quite awhile; they've just recently really started perking up and looking colorful though. No idea why!

I think the mushroom is white-rimmed and somewhat shrivelled from being stung by the buttons. Likewise those bottom buttons never open all the way from being stung by the mushroom. It's an uneasy truce.... hehehehe

You are either really really brave or CRAZY!!!!! I've shot a couple weddings as favors for friends. Most scary shooting I've ever done. You couldn't pay me enough to deal with that every weekend. Both of these weddings were on the beach at sunset. Wind blowing...sand flying. What a nightmare.

Nice and interesting tank pick. Was that taken with your 20D? What lens were you shooting with?

I actually enjoy weddings. Done a couple now and they've gone great!

Yes, this shot was with the 20d, the 18-55 EFS lens, and a couple of close-up filters.
