i know this may not apply for all situations but i had read BADDD dyno and cyno problems. a pipe burst in my home that cause me to shut down tank lights for 4 days, the lights in the room with the tank were also off, but when i was finaly able to turn the lights back on, everything was gone, including a couple sps, but my tank was clean as a whistle. i had tried 24 hrs lights of with no successes but 4 days and i have not seen it since

nelson did you check your ro filters? I have a tds meter if you want bring me some water . Another member had the same problem and after trying everything mentioned i told him how I got rid of mine his response was "my filters are fairly new" after finally changing the "fairly new" filters it was like magic the stuff started disappearing

Changed out to a new Filmtech but no real results Manny.I could buy a new Kent one but they're expensive like 115.00 for the 60gpd HI-S one I originally had with the Maxxima.

What is your nitrate readings? I had Dino once and cleared it completely in 2 weeks with AzNO3 and bring my nitrate down to zero in 3 weeks, but I did lose a shrimp and a brittle star.
