acan HELP!

why are the acan heads detaching from the skeleton??? :sad2: my water params are fine. ph 8.2, calc 450, mag 1400, nh3 0, no2 0, no3 10, po4 .02, temp 76/77. only thing different was harvesting macro (about a gallon ziploc bagful.) i have other acans with no problems whatsoever. any help is greatly appreciated.

yes - feather and blade as well as dragon's breath.

Bingo, IMHO, get all the calurpa out of your tank, do a water change and run carbon. calurpa is toxic to corals and fish in a closed system. You can keep the dragons breath and i would add cheato. good luck

give them oxygen!

use a small pump give them OXYGEN it may be this. check your orp.

not that uncommon many species of LPS get a slow tissue recession almost like STN with SPS...Doug try feeding it ...its worked for me in the past in helping it recover.
