Acro Crab??

I got a acro crab when I bought some sps thurs It seem to be hosting xenia and has not made its way to any acros in my tank, is it normal for them to host other things than acros, this one seem a little bigger than others I have had in the past?

Are you sure its an acro crab? I can't tell because the picture is all blue.
They stick to acro's, but the acro colony you had might be too small so it was wandering to try find a bigger one, unsuccessfully. Or it could be a gorilla crab

If its hairy w blue eyes get rid of it! They eat polyps right out of the corals!

it is white color with light brown on top

tryed another picture it is a very docile crab it don't try to run when I went to pick it up it just would hold on to what ever it was near its. Back legs are flat like swimmer legs on a blue claw crab it's butt end is thick, playing it safe I have it isolated to I get more info.

This is the typical acro crabs I usually see.

A couple of key things is the black dots on each of its "knees", and no black tip claws

Did a google and came up with The Portunidae*( Swimming Crabs) none of the photos looked like mine other that the flat back legs any idea if they are reef safe or should I let him live out its life in the sump?

Too many things point to it not being a acro crab so I will let it live its life out in my sump!!!
