My 75 has a really weak dsb its about 3" is there anyway I can somehow cure sand and add it to my tank safely without damaging corals. I have acans, zoas, a kenya tree, frogspawn and candy cane. The tank is 48x18x24 how much more live sand will I need to get from 3" to 6"?

Hi
Its quite easy to add sand without damaging corals and you do not have to cure it, just add it progressively, layer by layer, say on layer of one inch every two weeks until you reach the desired sand bed depth.

Recently I did add some sand to my sand bed, have a look on how it is done

you can increase the funnel stem by attaching a rigid narrow pipe (should be rigid so that you aim better).

Cheers
Pedro Nuno ;-)
