Hey Guys,
Here is the scoop. I currently have 2 x 175 watt metal halides with phoenix 15k bulbs that will need to be replaced. I also have a 4 bulb t5 deep blue fixture with moonlights that needs new bulbs. Should I stick woth the halides or go with the t5's? Of course i will replace the bulbs & i dont have enough cash for leds yet...

What are the dimensions of your tank? Halides will give off more heat than the T-5s if heat is an issue. Either way, it looks like you will need to replace bulbs for whatever option you choose.
