African knobby starfish

Who has successfully kept one? I bought three at different times and acclimated properly. They just break into pieces. Luckily LA refunds me every time. Never again.

I had one for years. Always feared my trigger would eat it until waking one day to find the star fish over the hole that the trigger slept in, with the trigger partially consumed by the starfish. Got rid of it after that
