is 1 ai hydra 26 good enough for a 50 gallon tank that measures 24x24x18? mixed reef tank...... also had a fish jump out my rimless tank, how do i prevent this?

that will be more that enough light. i have 1 AI hydra 26 HD on my 92 corner tank and everything is growing including sps/lps/softies. As for the fish jumping out, you might have to make a cover out of mesh.

get the mesh from BRS and the others you can get them at home depot.

ok thank you..... people also said egg crate could work.... my hope was to have the egg crate until the fish acclimate to the tank then i could remove it.... the whole point of buying a rimless tank was for that open look

Their tops are awesome made from polycarbonate not acrylic much stronger. They will make you a top no problem. They are bit expensive and few week leadtime but worth every penny and the wait
