Ai prime 16 hd did i get a defective product?

Hi im new to reefing and leds so i bought the ai prime 16 hd. I was working with the settings on it and put it down next to me on my couch and it made the couch all most go on fire it burned a hole in it. And now the lens is distorted a little and looks like it has fractured a little and is turning red.

Contact them they are really helpful ! They are located in PA which is close the the tri-state

its a pretty powerful led you dont ever put it on contact directly with anything let alone something that is easily flammable lol

If just the lense is distorted I would contact them and see if they could just ship out a replacement or ship it to them and have them replace the lense for you.

I'd say the light is fine..they do give off heat and are intense, especially if it's in close proximity to something I could see it being able to ignite.
