so i started a new tank a little over a year ago and transfered only 2 things from my old tank, two small colonies of zoos. they had macro algae on the main rock itself but i thought i chipped off a clean piece but i guess not.
i set up this new tank with dry rock to avoid exactly this type of thing. and that rock is the only place in my tank with algae.
my question is should i just take the whole rock out and forget about the zoos or is there a sure way to rid the rock of algae?
none of the zoos are that great so im leaning towards removal
