Alk / cal dosing question 2 part

My 120 mixed reef has been up for 2+ years. I dose bright well 2 part with a bubble Magus doser, mag as well. When I started dosing several months ago my numbers were stable at 45 ml Alk and 45 of cal daily. Currently I'm dosing 60 Alk 30 cal in order to keep the same parameters ( 420 cal, 8 Alk)
My question is does a mixed reef that is maturing use that much more Alk than cal?

I think it all depends on your livestock.

Im 100% sps and my tank needs double the amount of ALK daily.

how do you like the BM doser? im sick of manually dosing but my tank requires so little im not sure if its worth the investment or if it can be dialed as low as 5ml a day lol

Invest in some brs dosers...i think there less than a hundred a piece, and they can does 1.1ml a minute. Perfect for smaller apps

BM doser is awesome!
If you shop it hard u can find a new one for $250.00
