I had to blow off some steam a little while ago so I decided, instead of working on hw, I would go work on making the lid for my hex tank thats being made into a vivarium. Well I forgot that I had thrown out my safety goggles ( they got too cloudy ), and was too lazy and angry to go to my car to get my glasses. So stupidly I started dremeling eggcrate without eye protection. All went well for a little bit until - wham! - a tiny, but very sharp piece of plastic flew at my eye and lodged in my lower eye lid. A half inch higher and I'd be in the ER right now. This is sad and ironic as I am a safety nut, and always warn my locksmith friend to wear safety goggles when drilling locks ( both before and after he punctured his eye with a flying piece of metal ). Lets just say I going to the store tomorrow to get a new pair of goggles before I touch the dremel again. So remember, boys and girls, SAFETY FIRST! :smash::banghead::banghead:

Had a coworker almost lose his eye while using a saw. A piece broke off the saw itself and went into his eye nearly missing his pupil. Right now, he can see but it is not 100%.
For him it was one of those things.... Always need to wear protection.
