American Pinpoint PH Monitor Problem.

Last night I checked my calc reactor and the ph monitor was stuck on 6.56. When I touch the coupling, where the ph probe wire goes into the unit the ph on the screen drops rapidly. The ph is also not rising as it should. Any help would be appreciated. I am not sure if it needs to be calibrated or if the probe is busted or the unit itself.

Try a New battery and re calibrate it.Check to see if the probe is not cracked or dirty.It's glass.

I am sorry I meant controller no batteries. I will try cleaning the probe tonight.
