Ammonia remover what brand is the best?

I have a golden butterfly QT with seachem copper but copper destory the sponge filter bacteria. I am using seachem prime and I just got the Ammo lock.

does these 2 brand work. Or should i try something else. Hate to lose a 85 dollar fish.

You need to make sure that either product doesn't remove the copper. Also why are you treating with copper, does the fish have something?

The best thing to do is water changes, this will bring down the ammonia.

Also prime should be converting the ammonia, so you don't need anything else, outside of some water changes.

hey marrone.

i did use prime and did a 10 percent change but he still seem to still breath a little fast thats why i ask if there is something stronger (I also got ammo lock) I have no idea how come the biological filter fail.

I have to use copper becasue I cant' take the risk of it being in my tank and then later it strikes. Then I will have setup tanks everywhere and my wife will smash the display tank.
