ok question is for corals they need light from 300nm thru 750nm. ie actinic is 420nm and daylight is 700nm. what if u use violet leds they are 420nm at 1000 lumens.mixed in with the blue and whites?also pink leds are 440nm at only 300 lumens.these are reg 5mm leds im using 4 ref.not the high power cree.any input just trying to wrap my head around all the dif.stuff about the proper spectrum 4 reef tanks:tongue:
