any luck keeping a blue throat trigger

I wanted to see if anyone has had any lucky keeping a blue throat trigger long term in a reef tank .I know a bunch of people who have tryied a few and had no luck .ive tryied one along time ago .and got him eating looking good then one day just dead

I have a male and female for about 8-9 months now, so far so good

I had one my Niger trigger killed him so I got rid if the Niger waiting on max reef to get them in gonna do a male and female

what? not long lived in captivity? damn there goes $35 had him since October. Hmm, going to make sure he eats well from now on, but he doesn't seem to stop eating.

Ive had about three with no problem. One for about two years. Then i switched tanks and sold him to another member where hes still good till this day(hes in a reef tank).

I had my male for +- 4 years before I had a tank crash 2009
have to feed plenty of meaty foods..

had mine for about 2 years when my Niger outgrew him and started bulling it...the Blue Throat lost it's male coloration and looked female to avoid the harrasssment, but even after I got the Niger out he went down hill...multiple feeding throughout the day.
