As a way to learn more about the fish in the hobby, I like to make fish paintings. I started this way of learning this year. I made a nice reef with some tangs, moorish idols, angelfish, eels, etc... My next painting is mostly open water with two large boulders on each side of the painting. So far, I plan on including the Queen Angelfish, Venustus Angelfish, and Volitans Lionfish. The problem is that I can't find any decent shots of the lionfish. I need a full picture of it's body so I would prefer a picture of it's side. If anyone has any pictures, please post them. Also, please try to get them as clear as possible.
The two big boulders on the painting are brown with green algae covering it. If anyone has any other suggestions for fish to include in the painting, feel free to post them. I would like to include a school of possibly yellow tangs also. The best fish colors on this painting (in my opinion) would be blue, green, or yellow.
Thanks for all your help and I promise to post a picture of the painting when it's done (it could take a little while but it will happen).
