Anybody Order Ilyanassa Snails Before???

Just curious if anyone has ever ordered these guys before? and how well they really do work cleaning the sand and etc....

Also how should i figure how many i need? You can buy up to like 275 of them....but i figure if you have some die off would that effect the ammonia or water quality......

i think ronen did once. i have some. they burrow but are not as fast as nass snails.

I bought quite a few..I think about a hundred for my 75G setup, and they do a great job with the clean up, the burrow and can climb the glass and cleaning algae (occassionally slipping off). They have also been multiplying (good thing - because my 2 hermits kill about 1 every day).
