I haven't been able to control my nitrates lately so I was doing large weekly water changes. I work retail so these past two months have been crazy for me. I was thinking of something to help me control my system. would you say that the sulfur denitrator would be better? I'm still kinda new to this. I'm going to do some research on the sulfur denigrators systems.

Please check the fresh salt water that you are making up , check the phos and nitrate levels there so you aren't adding more with a water change . It's very hard to reduce with water changes alone . Can you please supply us with more info on the tank /size stocking lever type of filtration , this will help .

I buy the water from pop coral in Brooklyn, I never checked the water (rookie mistake). I have a 125 fish only display with a 55 refugium. I use a filter sock and a bubble magmus 7. I also have a 32 watt UV sterilizer and the maxspect 150 gyre. I have lots of live rock/ sand in both DT/refugium. for fish I have 1 blue face angel ( 3-4inches), 1 puffer ( 4-5 inches), 6 clownfish ( about 1 to 1 1/2 inches), 2 tangs (2-3inches), 1 trigger(3-4inches) and a ribbon eel. the system has been up and running for about 9 months with only the last 4-6 weeks of the nitrates being uncontrollable. thanks for the help!!
