Well I need help. The sooner the better. What I need help with is wiring up 2 250watt ballasts (the magnetic ones) Advance brand. If anyone can help out. Maybe even stop by to help me wire them, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey Kris, I can give you a hand this week, I just finished wiring up two new ballasts myself. If frank doesnt drop by (he is far more qualified than me to do this) drop me a pm and i'll see if i can work out a time.

Frank it was nice meeting you and your buddy today. Thanks for wiring up the ballast for me. I'll test them out tmrw with a MH bulb from Lowes or HD. I'll let you know if they work. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

14 inches x 11.75 inches x 6 inches (L x W X H)

I added a inch to the height to make sure that the ballast doesnt touch the top of it.

I just tested both ballast and they both fire up the bulb. Thanks again. Now I can finally light the tank up.

thats great how does the tank look with mh lamps,
does the ballest feel warm or hot near the top

I just bought a bulb at Lowes to make sure the ballast work, since I know they work I'll go ahead and order the bulbs.

I didnt let the ballast run for to long, but I can only imagine how hot they will get.
