Anyone drill tanks in queens/brooklyn/nassau

I need 2 holes drilled into a 10 gallon tank or if anyone knows where i can get a bit for cheap or if someone is willing to rent theirs out.

I have some drill bits, but you might want to be really careful with drilling a 10 gallon, the glass is absurdly thin.

Definitely harder to drill. You can try glass-holes.com Bits are about $15 and shipping is cheap and quick

i have the drill bit for 3/4 inch bulkheads handy. i would have to look to see if i can find the one for 1 inch bulkheads.

I definitely do not recommend drilling a 10 gallon by your self if you have never drilled glass before. The problem with a 10 gallon is that the glass can't stand too much pressure when drilling. Lets say you were to fart too hard during the process, the glass will crack around areas you were not even drilling.

I could drill the tank for you if you want. Im suppose to be in woodside tomorrow morning. If you want to arrange to meet me at me job site in the morning or around lunch, I can drill it for you in 5 mins. What size do you want it drilled? I have a bit for a 3/4" bulkhead. Lmk so I can bring the bit to work with me

I have a drilled 10 gallon you can have free..it still has the durso connected, you'd just need a 1/2 inch return bulkhead w/ barb fitting. A couple of good buddies drilled this 10 gallon and let me tell you....it wasnt easy, and it takes alot of time to do it right and not crack the tank..
