Anyone drill tanks?

Getting a 120 tommorow, its not RR and wana know if anyone local to Long Island drills tanks.

just curious can any of you drillers drill the holes in an overflow box and make it bigger? also, can you do this without breaking down the tank? wondering if this is possible?

Not such a good idea. If you needed something that flows more, I recommend getting a new overflow box.

Didn't mean the external type overflow boxes not sure if I wasn't clear enough I meant the holes drilled into to tank, is it possible to increase an existing hole?

Yea if you are in LI I'd say hit up duke or fishman they are both really good guys.

You can make an exsisting hole bigger but the tank should be empty first!

What if emptying the tank is not an option would it be possible? Obviously the cornerflows would be emptied.

Ive heard of people drilling tanks with water in them but its a big risk. I guess with the ov chamber empty, it wouldnt have that much pressure on it but it would still be risky.

There is a recent thread in here when someone tried to drill a full tank. The result was so bad I would not even think about taking that risk.
