Anyone ever used a Maxi Jet Mod?

I have no idea what's the difference, except one is 2x as expensive. Help!

I have the Sure Flow mod and it works great. I also purchased the magnet kit to hang it up. It's a lot cleaner looking & more compact than the one with the suction cups!

yeS, they are great... make sure that you use the RIGHT MJ for the mod :arg: i uSed a 1200 foR mine and it shooK the WHOLE tank ...but the 900 was perFect !

I had 1 on a 1200 and it kept stopping for no reason at all.. But the 900 still works fine..

I use the gulf stream mod

As was mentioned make sure to match the mod to the pump.

Im using the sure flow on my MJ900 and the flow is awesome in my 65gal.

fernando I use the hi flow one and the low flow behind my rocks the only problem i had was the MJ magnet broke one time on the hi flow one and started rattling I took care of it with super glue
I recommend it the flow on the hi flow is crazy it makes a wave across my 125 from one side to the other the only thing I don't like about it is it is a little bulky

im using sureflow on both a 900 and 1200 and its great

It seems like everyone is saying good things about it. I wanted to hook it up to a Wavy sea, but I'm not sure if 1200 gph is too much flow for a 58gal.

Also, the way the Wavy sea is hooked up, it's on a 1/4" piece of glass. With that much flow, would it be sturdy enough to support it?
