thanks, i took a look. only really good pic i saw they had a yellow color to them...and of course they are hard to get rid of and no livestock feasts on them as a natural predator. i only saw on one rock. hopefully someone else will confirm this or say its something else before i go home and remove the rock
Don't pluck them off as that'll risk pieces falling off and spreading in the tank. When I had them I tried a kalk paste and epoxy them. But they managed to find a way around them. As a last resort, I took the whole rock out and blow torching it It was out of water for no more than 5 minutes, and with the torching all the coralline died. Yours still seem isolated so you may have better luck than I did.
i was not able to confirm, but the more i looked at the pics of them online i didnt want to chance anything and removed the rock. thankfully i only had to move one rock to get to it. thanks for your help.
