Does anyone know where i can buy Aquaforest products? Any LFS sell them. Looking to do the 123 balling method and use their salt too.

I order all my aquaforest products from Steve at stone aquatics. My salt I order from eBay/Amazon. If you can find the 25kg box it's actually cheaper than the 22kg bucket

You don't need the whole line up to start. To start cuckoo recommendations are the salt. Bio 2 every day for 14 days. Carbon and phosphate minus

You know which salt? The reef salt or probiotic? Im mostly lps/ and some sps. Id rather go with probiotic salt. Im assuming they want me to use their carbon and phos remover. I got a bunch leftover of another brand carbon and GFo which i was planning to run in my avast spyglass.

With what you have you would be ok with just the reef salt. It will save you a couple dollars. Be careful with the probiotic salt. There have been numerous complaints on various sites of it being too clean. To the point you have to feed more or dose amino acids so your system is completely nil

I just switched to Red Sea Coral Pro from ESV. Just wondering why you are switching away from Red Sea?

Im starting a new tank from scratch so wanted to try another method of maintaining parameters. I here good things about Aquaforest 123 balling method and its salts so since im going new might aswell give it a try. My 75 gallon was doing good with the Red Sea coral Pro but i feel alk was a little high. But still is a great salt

I personally think you'll like aquaforest and its products. It's a little cheaper than the other methods(zeo vit, fauna, etc). It takes patience and time as well as everything else. Only drawbacks I have noticed is its not readily availiable all the time. I personally have not had any problems getting whatever products I need but I know a few stores that have stopped carrying it cause they can't keep it in stock from selling out so fast and the supplier not being able to ship more out in adequate time
With aquaforest they recommend having a low alk. There is plenty of info on other sites that could/should help a lot.
