Aqua Medic 36"Ocean Light T5/ 250W Metal Halide Fixture $450


Used for about 2 years. The hqi bulbs are phoenix 14k with about 6 months of use on them. The T5 are the more purple color. One t5 bulb is 3 months old and the other is brand new.

Inclues the wires to hang it however the stock part that attaches to the ceiling i threw out cause it wasnt ideal.You'll need to go to home depoyt and get 2 eye hooks for about $2 to hang it. I've attached carabiners to the hanging kit that will attach to the eyehooks you install.

I am located in Norwalk, CT however my girl works in White Plains, NY. We can arrange for pickup at either spot. Would prefer not to ship as the ballast is quite heavy.

WHy are you selling? I am getting a 58G thats about 18 inches deep. I am in the market for a ligt.. Are the dual 250's too much for that size tank?

The tank that I used this light on is gone so need to make some space in my closet. I used it on a 46 with great results so a 58 would be fine with the light. With dual 250's I would reccomend slowly acclimating your livestock to the intense light. In my pics you can see window screening I used when I did it on my own tank. Removed a little more screen every few days until it was all gone. Then lowered the light and increased the number of hours of light.
