Looking to try aquaponic tank in my classroom next yr. Any info would be great

There's a thousand way of setting this up. The easiest way IMO is to have fish tank at the bottom, with the grow bed over the tank. The water is pumped from the tank up to the grown bed and then drained down back into the tank.
As for the grow bed, I personally like clay pebbles it's relatively inexpensive. This can be put in a plastic container with holes drilled into the bottom for drainage and fitted over the tank.
Water flow varies depending on what you're planning to grow. This area is heavily debated, and requires some tweaking.
