Please use this only as a reference as adding couplings, elbows, unions, and valves will restrict flow.

when calculating drain the only thing you have working for you is gravity.

This is a good water volume calculator for accommodating for live rock, live sand, sump, fuge, plumbing etc. I looked at the few calculators posted above, but none was as comprehensive.
